We often think we live this life alone, without a true friend, without someone to talk to. This is untrue! The Lord is always wanting to engage in conversation with His children and you are meant to be a child of God.
Recall what you have learned about prayer. Read scriptures to reinforce the whys. Why it matters, why it is heard, and why prayer is important to God. Don’t think He’s too busy for you, in fact, it’s often the reverse. we are too busy for Him!
“What do I say?”
Pray for your family, friends, children and neighbors! Pray for your city, region, and nation! Pray for your political leaders in every office, your religious leaders, and pray for the world leaders to do God’s will and not man’s.
“How often should I pray?”
Pray unceasingly! Open your mouth and let the Lord know what’s on your mind and heart. Let Him know what you think is wrong. Tell Him who you think needs His help. Pray for comfort, pray for strength, pray for knowledge and wisdom, pray for gifts, pray for impartations, pray for dreams, pray for hope, peace, and love to be restored to the hearts of men! Pray for the lost, pray for fallen, and pray for your persecutors. It matters!
“Are my prayers heard?”
While we may not see the instant miracles or instant fixes we think should happen in our world, that does not mean your prayers aren’t heard or answered. God’s word does not return void (Isa. 55:11) and He does not expect our words to be void either. This is why we are to be careful with our words (Eph. 4:29).
Praying for you, beloved. May your day be filled with moments to reflect on God’s goodness and His love for you. So what are you waiting for? Talk to Him now, He’s waiting!
Yes, you are loved! ❤️
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
